Bruno Mars Honors Cardi B Every Night During World Tour, As Promised

Bruno Mars has kept his pledge to honor his "Finesse" partner in crime Cardi B.

The singer-songwriter, who kicked off the North American leg of his "24K Magic World Tour" over the summer, has been paying respect to the "I Like It" emcee throughout his tour since Cardi had to withdraw her involvement in July for personal reasons.

She was initially slated to be the opening act for Mars' September tour dates but resigned in order to spend more time with her daughter, Kulture, whom she gave birth to on July 10.  "As of today I've decided I won't be joining Bruno on tour this Fall. I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically," she wrote via social media back in July.

The "Versace on the Floor" crooner was completely understanding of the situation. "Most important thing is you and your family's health. I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing," he replied, vowing to "play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor."

Since then, the 32-year-old musician has upheld his oath.

Earlier this week, Mars gave Cardi and her megahit "Bodak Yellow" a funky shoutout with a 90-second drum solo during his performances at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Wednesday and Thursday (19 & 20).
