G-Eazy Slams Ex Halsey On His New Track 'I Wanna Rock'

G-Eazy and Halsey don't seem to be on the best of terms, as per the former's new single, "I Wanna Rock," featuring Gunna.

On the new track, which dropped on Tuesday (October 15), the Bay Area rapper, 30, references his turbulent relationship with the pop star, 24, and their hit, "Him And I." "Not a one-hit wonder, this is why I'm hot/ No Limit, all I got is Me, Myself & I/ When we said it’s her and I, that sh*t was a lie (Yup)," he spits at the end of the first verse. Among the other references on the track include Joker and Harley Quinn.

It's not the first time that the pair exchanged subliminal messages in their music. We all know the inspiration behind the pop star's mega-smash, "Without Me." Plus, she also referenced the rapper during her verse on Post Malone's "Die For Me." "I don't play anymore, I went through your phone/ And caught the girls in your DM's and took all them home/ And I know it's been a while since the last time you heard from me/ Grew into a savage and that's why they gave this verse to me," she sings.

Outside of music, Halsey has been pretty candid about her dynamic with her ex-boyfriend. In the October cover story for Cosmopolitan magazine, the pop star recalled the breakup, admitting that she became fully aware of her self-worth and the output she was offering her fans mid-heartbreak. “I was doing Good Morning America and I'm in a blonde wig and white patent-leather outfit, twirling around while I’m going through a heinous breakup," she told the magazine. "I look down and there are these two girls, one with pink hair, one with blue hair, septum piercings, cool as f**k, still loving me, probably knowing what a weird time I'm going through."
