A 9-year-old Californian boy Ryan Kirkpatrick wanted his fellow third-grade classmates "to feel happy to know someone cares about them" and paid off his entire class' school lunch debt with his allowance money.
He asked his mom to find out how much his classmates owed for their lunches for the rest of the year and took $74.50 from his saved allowance and paid off the total remaining balance for his classmates!
Kirkpatrick donated the money anonymously until the school's story went viral. Now....Ryan's family is campaigning for all students to receive their school meals for free!
