Instagram is testing a special new feature that will let you remove followers. I find this interesting because I am so determined to constantly grow my reach on Instagram so it shouldn't really matter who is following you right? In some cases it does - someone who is bullying, being aggressively persistent, an ex lover or an ex friend might be a few good reasons to choose about someone not following you. On Facebook you can unfriend them and Twitter you can block but Instagram doesn't really have that option yet.
A few months ago, Instagram did launch a feature that lets you hide comments that bullies a person about their image, character, well-being, and so forth as a preventative against internet trolls cause they are constantly lurking and hurting people at great lengths. Wouldn't it just be better to get them to stop following you in the first place and get rid of that negativity?
Is this something you will use?
