Happy Halloween!!! Or was it?
To be honest I had Halloween anxiety this weekend. Seems like a silly thing to have, but I was honestly terrified to put Lyric in his plane costume for fear of an epic toddler freak out. I wanted to make Lyric's first trick-or-treating experience really special and I knew I was taking a chance with this place costume because it had to hang off of him. I was bascially Russian roulette with a toddler.
Sure enough like clockwork, the minute I busted out with that plane he went into freak out mode. And then inwardly so did I. But then I decided to suck it up and resolved that even if he didn't wear his costume we were going to snag some candy. I mean he's cute as all anything with or without a costume.
Well my kid once again proved to be my spawn, because the minute we got to the mall and noticed that people were paying attention to him he put that plane on and started showing off his best red carpet wave. That's my boy alright. Love him.
