Washington DC To Give 16 Year Olds The Right To Vote

There a re a lot of people that are not lease with this.

D.C. may soon become the first major jurisdiction in America to lower the voting age from 18 to 16. This bill would lower the voting age in both local and presidential elections and officials are saying tha setting the voting age at 16 could lead to more votes among they get older. Many teenagers move away from their parents' home when they first become eligible to vote at age 18, and many often don't register and cast a ballot when they're busy dealing with major life changes.

Barbara Bush Won't Seek Additional Medical Treatment Amid Failing Health

Former First Lady Barbara Bush has been described as being “in failing health” and her family have confirmed that she will not seek additional medical treatment, but will instead have “comfort care.” She's been living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and congestive heart failure.

Romaine lettuce to blame for multistate E. coli outbreak

Not eating salad for awhile.

Chopped romaine lettuce grown in the Yuma, Arizona, area is to blame for a multistate E. coli outbreak. Thirty five cases of E. coli illnesses in 121 states have been reported and linked to the outbreak. Twenty-two of the ill individuals have been hospitalized. Three of those patients developed a type of kidney failure associated with an E. coli illness. Throw the lettuce away!

Check your eggs because more than 200 million are being recalled because of potential contamination of salmonella.

The Lemon Face Challenge is fighting back against aggressive brain tumors

I will absolutely be doing this!! 

The Lemon Face Challenge is raising funds to combat DIPG an oft-terminal form of cancer in the brainstem that most commonly effects children aged 5 to 9 years old. People are eating entire wedges of lemon and posting their best sour faces online in order to urge people to donate money to fight the disease.

As Coachella heats up, a wildfire raged nearby

A small wildfire broke out about 6 miles away from the music festival Sunday, according to the Riverside County Fire Department, but was 100% contained by the afternoon, having consumed 15 acres.

Big thanks to the 100 firefighters that got this under control.
